Our Story
Central Texas Roofing Pros was founded in 2009 by Mike Torres, a Killeen native who had spent years learning the trade and watching out-of-state contractors swoop into Bell County after every major storm, do shoddy work, and disappear before homeowners could come back with complaints. Mike believed Killeen deserved a local roofing company built on honesty, craftsmanship, and genuine accountability — a company that would still be here five, ten, twenty years later.
What started as a two-man operation out of Mike's garage has grown into a full team of licensed, certified roofing professionals serving Killeen, Harker Heights, Temple, Belton, Copperas Cove, Fort Cavazos, and all of Bell County. We've replaced over 2,000 roofs, navigated hundreds of insurance claims, and helped military families at Fort Cavazos keep their homes protected — even when service members are deployed overseas.

He personally oversees every major job and is the first call when an emergency comes in at 2 AM.

David joined the team in 2015 after earning his HAAG Certification — the same credential that insurance adjusters use.
